The Park Ridge Fine Arts Society had presented a series of free concerts since 1960, but continues to face financial constraints that threaten its ability to offer the same quality and quantity of concerts. You can help by participating in our sponsorship program or by donating to our fundraising website.

Since 1960, the Park Ridge Fine Arts Society has presented classical music concerts with no admission charge to the people of Park Ridge. Funding for the concerts has been secured via grants and donations, an annual ball and sales of merchandise at the concerts. Unfortunately, the State of Illinois has been unable to continue its grant, the Musician Performance Trust Fund has reduced its underwriting support and general funding has declined. And while each musician is a professional who has agreed to perform at the concerts for a rate lower than what their skills would normally command, the net result is an annual budget crunch.

The concerts are one of the things that make Park Ridge such a special place to live.

To address its financial situation, the Fine Arts Society continues to trim the number of concerts held to correspond with reduced funding. We are seeking individual or corporate sponsors for each concert every year. The levels of corporate support are:

Full sponsorship of one concert – $3,000
Partial sponsorship of one concert – $1,500

We also appreciate donations from our patrons. Donations over $50 (Copper through Director’s Circle) will be listed in our booklet according to following categories:

Director’s Circle – $5,000
Maestro’ Circle – $2,000
Golden Circle – $1,000
Silver – $500
Bronze – $200
Copper – $100
Friends – $50

Full or partial sponsors will be acknowledged at their sponsored concert. They will also be admitted to a special cordoned-off area in Hodges Park to enjoy the concert and free refreshments. All patrons and friends will be recognized in our program book.

Our summer concerts in Hodges Park have been likened to a free, smaller scale Ravinia Festival. They’re one of the things that makes Park Ridge such a special place in which to live. The Fine Arts Society would really appreciate your support to assure that this Park Ridge tradition continues.
